What is Alli? How Does it Work? Where can I get it?



Alli is the over the counter brand Xenical Orlistat is the name of the drug. All three names refer to the same drug but Alli® is the new non prescription strength version of Xenical. This drug is comminly referred to as a "fat blocker". It works by binding to the fat cells you ingest so that you don't digest the fat normally. It in turn makes the body expel the bonded fat cells as waste.

The active ingredient in alli binds to some of the fat cells during digestion  preventing them from breaking down about a quarter of the fat you eat. Undigested fat cannot be absorbed and passes through the body naturally. The excess fat is not harmful. In fact, you may recognize it in the toilet as something that looks like the oil on top of a pizza.
